Ing. Václav Diviš, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor and Senior Machine Learning Expert with over 13 years of experience in the automotive industry. He specializes in computer vision, functional safety, and the verification and validation of AI systems for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving. Currently at ARRK Engineering in Munich, he leads work on ADAS L3 development, supervises graduate research, and contributes to company-level strategy. He previously worked at ZF Friedrichshafen on safety-critical steering and camera systems. Václav earned his Ph.D. in Robotics and Cybernetics from the University of West Bohemia, where his research focused on the functional safety of computer vision in automotive applications. He has published in AI and automotive safety, and regularly represents his work at leading international conferences.
