He earned his master’s in electrical and computer engineering from Ohio State University, where his thesis focused on real-time lidar point cloud emulation for target vehicles. Santhanam's expertise lies in the intersection of sensor technology and vehicle dynamics, with a particular emphasis on structure-borne vibration analysis and blocked force characterization. His work contributes to the development of standardized testing protocols for lidar systems, aiming to enhance their integration and performance in autonomous vehicle platforms.
