Alex Lim serves as a Principal Field Application Engineer and Multicore Lead at LDRA, supporting customers across the US and APAC regions. With extensive experience in safety-critical domains such as automotive, aerospace, and defense, Alex partners with industry leaders to architect solutions that meet rigorous safety and security standards.
A recognized expert in multicore systems, Alex has authored technical papers addressing multicore interference, real-world compliance with FAA guidance such as AC 20-193, and practical strategies for safe multicore integration. He plays a key role in helping RTOS providers, silicon vendors, and system integrators navigate the complexities of modern software assurance in ADAS, avionics, and other mission-critical applications.
He represents LDRA on industry committees and is a frequent speaker at technical conferences, including events on autonomous systems and the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) initiative.
Earlier in his career, Alex worked at the Space and Missile Systems Center, contributing to mission- and safety-critical software for flight safety and flight management systems, as well as designing UAV autopilot simulation frameworks.
