The NIRA speaker slot will talk about how NIRA Dynamics road surface condition information (road surface friction and roughness) is essential for ADAS/AV’s to understand the vehicle dynamics ODD (related to speed, braking and cornering ability) and to avoid road hazards like potholes. NIRA collects this information from production vehicles with NIRA Tire Grip Indicator (TGI) software installed (currently 2 mil. vehicles in the EU and 350K in North America) that allows detailed road condition maps to be created and refreshed every 10 minutes.
